Ray Antoine Terrebonne is survived by his wife, Carol Pitre Terrebonne; mother, Rosie Galliano Terrebonne; brother, Donald Terrebonne; sisters, Joyce Mayet and Lilly Guidry; two nieces; four nephews; and four great-nephews.

He was 60, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, when he died at 6:18 p.m. March 7, 2005.  Visitation was Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass of burial was celebrated Thursday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

Ray preceded in death by his father, Clifton Terrebonne; mother-in-law, Lucille Pitre; and father-in-law, Sidney Pitre.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Ray was a retired veteran of the U. S. Navy.  He was a guidance counselor with the Lafourche Parish School Board.
